About the Role
As a Driver, you will operate vans, cars, or light trucks to transport goods, packages, or passengers safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include route planning, vehicle inspections, loading and unloading cargo, providing customer service, and complying with Italian traffic laws and EU driving regulations.
This role requires physical stamina, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to work independently. Delivery drivers enjoy daily customer interactions, while passenger drivers (taxis, shuttles, private hire) benefit from tips and meeting people from around the world. Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections (tires, lights, fuel, brakes, documents)
- Load and unload packages, food orders, or luggage safely
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS or local knowledge to save time and fuel
- Deliver goods to customers on time, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery
- Handle cash, card payments, or mobile payments when required
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at every stop
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicle
- Follow all Italian driving laws – speed limits, ZTL (restricted traffic zones), and parking regulations
- Communicate with dispatchers or platform apps regarding delays, issues, or completions

Requirements
- Valid Italian or EU driving license (Category B minimum; C or D license a plus for larger vehicles)
- Clean driving record (no major violations or DUIs)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (rideshare or food delivery experience accepted)
- Knowledge of Italian roads, traffic rules, and ZTL zones in major cities
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (package delivery roles)
- Basic Italian language skills (A2 minimum) or English for tourist-facing roles
