About the Role
As a Security Guard (Guardia Giurata or Addetto alla Sicurezza), you will monitor premises, control access points, patrol areas, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, clients, and property. Your primary responsibilities will include CCTV monitoring, writing incident reports, handling alarms, preventing theft or vandalism, and cooperating with local police or emergency services.
This role requires vigilance, physical stamina, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and public holidays, with extra pay for less desirable hours. Many security guards go on to become team leaders, surveillance operators, or private investigators.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol interior and exterior areas of assigned sites on foot or by vehicle
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems for suspicious activity
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles
- Verify identification, credentials, and visitor logs at access points
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, fire incidents, or medical emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs

Requirements
- Valid Italian security guard license (or willingness to obtain one – employer sponsorship available)
- Clean criminal record certificate (Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale) – mandatory
- Physical fitness for standing, walking, bending, and occasional running or lifting
- Basic Italian language skills (A2–B1 level minimum to communicate with public and police)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work rotating shifts – nights, weekends, and public holidays
- No prior security experience required – full training provided (including first aid and fire safety)
- Must have valid work authorization in Italy (EU passport, permesso di soggiorno, or visa sponsorship available for qualified non-EU candidates)
