About the Role
As a Security Guard (Hares Amn), you will monitor premises, control access points, patrol areas, and respond to incidents to ensure safety of staff, visitors, and property. Your primary responsibilities will include CCTV monitoring, writing incident reports, handling alarms, preventing theft or trespassing, and cooperating with Saudi police when needed.
This role requires physical fitness, vigilance, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Shifts include nights, weekends, and public holidays with extra pay for unsocial hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol interior and exterior areas of assigned sites on foot or by vehicle
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems for suspicious activity
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles
- Verify identification, iqama, visitor passes, and vehicle permits
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, fires, or medical emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports (in Arabic or English) and maintain daily activity logs
- Enforce property rules, prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Escort staff, VIPs, or valuable assets as required
- Provide customer assistance – directions, lost and found, emergency information
- Coordinate with Saudi police (999) or civil defense (998) during serious incidents
- Follow all Saudi security regulations and data protection rules
Requirements
- Valid Saudi iqama or ability to obtain work visa (employer provides sponsorship)
- Clean criminal record (police clearance certificate from home country)
- Physical fitness for standing, walking, and occasional running or lifting
- Basic Arabic language skills (numbers, commands, greetings) or English
